One is Deacon William Rockwell (Walter E.) who came to America on the ship "Mary and John" in 1830. His older brother John Rockwell (Rufus Mead) came in 1635 on the ship "Speedwell". Family history Troy, PA Jan 1st. 1860 - Rufus Rockwell has added to his farm above described 50 acres purchaxed of O.P. Ballard and situated on the south side of his original farm on which he still lives, having built a dwelling house on the road near Troy Boro. His family each member of which is still living, and so far as known at present in the enjoyment of health. .... All his sons except the eldest are Buchanan Democrats. Family history Troy, PA Jan 1st. 1870 - Rufus still lives on his farm east of Troy Boro. His first wife Mary died Aug. 2nd 1860 and he has married again to Lydia Fasset Jan 1862 and is now enjoying good health. Family History Jan 1st 1880 - The head of the family whose record is given in this paper died at his home in Troy, PA. on the 21st of Dec. 1873, and is buried beside his first wife in the ild cemetary one mile east of Troy, PA. Lydia Fasset Rockwell his 2nd wife is now living at or near South Creek, Bradford Co., PA.

Anna Lord was born at Towcester, Northton, England..2 She was the daughter of Dr. Thomas Lord and Dorothy Bird. Anna Lord was baptized on 18 September 1614 at Towcester, Northton, England.2 She married Thomas Stanton circa 1638/39 at Hartford, Middlesex County, Connecticut. His eldest son Thomas Stanton Jr. died 11 Apr 1718 aged 80. that produces an birth year for him of about 1638. Assuming he was born in his parent's first year of marriage, Thomas' estimated marriage year to Ann Lord is 1637. However Thomas Stanton Jr. also gave a deposition on the 4th May 1666 in which he is described as about 26 years - that would give an estimated birth date of 1640 and his parent's marriage date as 1639.3 Anna Lord died in 1688 at Stonington, New London County, Connecticut.2
