     John Denison Baldwin was born on 28 September 1809 at North Stonington, CT.. He was the son of Daniel Baldwin and Hannah Stanton. He married Lemira Hathaway on 3 April 1832. John Denison Baldwin died on 8 July 1883 at Worcester, MA.
     He was an editor and a member of Congress. In 1882 he printed an incomplete record of the descendants of Thomas Stanton. He was also the author of "The Baldwin Genealogy".

     Elijah Stanton was born on 2 August 1808 at Salisbury, CT.. He was the son of Richard Pearce Stanton and Julia Hollister. He married Rebecca Milliman at Baltimore, MD, on 6 April 1837. Elijah Stanton died circa 1849 at St. Louis, Missouri. On his way home from the Mexican War.
     He moved with his parents in 1813 to Danby, NY and then to Maryland. He served in the Mexican War. By trade, he was a harness-maker. He was the postmaster at Heathville, VA in 1836.

Egbert Stanton

     Egbert was born at Danby, NY, on 2 April 1826. He was the son of Richard Pearce Stanton and Julia Hollister. He married Adeline E. Morgan at Springfield, IL, in 1850. Egbert Stanton died on 3 April 1877 at Black Hills. He was killed by Indians.
     In Illinois he worked at the carpenter's trade until he moved to Denver, Colorado where he followed mining. In 1871 he went to the Black Hills.

     Adeline E. Morgan was born on 6 April 1835 at Burlington, VT.. She married Egbert Stanton at Springfield, IL, in 1850. Adeline E. Morgan died on 26 June 1878 at Pische, NV.
     As of 1850,her married name was Stanton.
