He married Lucy Mariah Burch at Westminster Township, Middlesex Co., Canada West (Ontario), on 10 September 1855. William died in 1865 Location is probable. at Middlesex Co, Canada West (now Ontario), Canada. His body was interred at Westminster Township, Middlesex Co., Canada West (Ontario), at Scottsville Cemetery.
     He made a will on 1 December 1864.

     Mariah was born at VT on 30 September 1811. Her children give her place of birth as New York, Canada, etc. but given where her parents were living during that time period and given that Vermont was the only location given while Mariah was living, it is believed to be the most likely location.. She was the daughter of Ephraim Ayers and Lovica Stanton. She married John Jones at St. Thomas Middlesex (Elgin) C, Upper Canada (Ontario), on 25 December 1826, by an unknown person . Mariah died circa 1859 at St. Clair Co., MI. Her body was interred at Lakeport, St. Clair Co., MI, at Lakeport Cemetery.
     As of 25 December 1826,her married name was Jones. She was also known as Mariah E.

     Samuel was born circa 1818. Date estimated from marriage date.. He was the son of Ephraim Ayers and Lovica Stanton. He married by an unknown person of the United Associate Secession Churc to Maria Nelles at London, London District, Upper Canada, on 26 September 1839.

     Erastus was born on 22 September 1830. He was the son of Ephraim Ayers and Lovica Stanton. Erastus died on 28 October 1852 Location is a probable. at Middlesex Co., Ontario. His body was interred at Westminster Township, Middlesex Co., Canada West (Ontario), at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
     Erastus F. Ayers was also known as Erastus G. Ayers.¹

     Arletta Jane Ayers was the daughter of Lovica Stanton. She married Cornelius Tuttle at London, Ontario, Canada, on 11 May 1834.¹

     Almond was born in 1841.¹ He was the son of Christopher Briggs and (?) (?). Almond died in July 1841 According to the tombstone he died at age 19 days..¹

     Elizabeth was born at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, on 1 May 1904.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Lawrence Briggs and Julia Amanda Stearns. She married Edmund S. Oppenheimer at Springfield, MA, on 4 October 1930.¹

     He was admitted a freeman of Massachusetts colony in 1639.

     Jonas was born at Rehoboth, Bristol, MA, circa 1621. He was the son of Walter Palmer and (?) (?). He married Elizabeth Grissell Griswold at Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA, on 3 May 1655. Jonas died on 22 January 1709 at Rehoboth, Bristol, MA.

She married Roger Sterry at Stonington, New London, CT, on 27 December 1671. She married John Fish at Stonington, New London, CT, on 25 August 1681. Hannah died at Stonington, New London, CT.
     As of 26 April 1659,her married name was Hewitt, Huet. As of 27 December 1671,her married name was Sterry. As of 25 August 1681,her married name was Fish.

     Elihu was born at Charlestown, Suffolk Co., MA, on 25 January 1636. He was the son of Walter Palmer and Rebecca Short. Elihu died on 5 September 1665 In his will he gave property to his nephews. at Stonington, New London, CT.

     Moses was born at Charlestown, Suffolk Co., MA, on 6 April 1640. He was the son of Walter Palmer and Rebecca Short. He married Dorothy Gilbert before 1672. Moses died on 6 July 1701 at Stonington, New London, CT.

     Benjamin was born at Charlestown, Suffolk Co., MA, on 30 May 1642. He was the son of Walter Palmer and Rebecca Short. Benjamin died on 10 April 1716 at Stonington, New London, CT. His body was interred at Stonington, New London, CT.

     She was christened at Stonington, New London, CT, on 1 June 1647. Rebecca Palmer was the daughter of Walter Palmer and Rebecca Short. She married Elisha Chesebrough at Stonington, New London, CT, on 20 April 1665. She married John Baldwin on 24 July 1672. Rebecca died on 2 May 1713 at Stonington, New London, CT.

     Thomas was born at Chew Magna, Somersetshire, England, on 23 April 1608. He was the son of Clement Minor. He married Grace Palmer on 23 April 1634. Thomas died on 23 October 1690 at Stonington, New London, CT.
     He came to America on the ship Lyon's Whelp from Gravesend, England on 25 April 1629 and arrived at Salem, Massachusetts in mid July 1629. Shortly after his arrival in Salem, then called Pequot Harbor, there was an outbreak of typhus and Thomas moved to Watertown, Massachusetts. He was there only briefly. He moved to Charlestown where in 1632 he became a founder of the First Church, his name appearing 34th on the roll. On 4 March 1633/34 he was made freeman. Two years later he was granted 4 acres of land at the line of Newtown (now Cambridge) and by 1637 he owned a 10 acre plot of land. He settled in Hingham, Massachusetts and stayed there until 1645. He then joined John Winthrop Jr's colony of puritans in the settlement of New London, Connecticut. In 1649 Thomas was appointed Miilitary Sargaent in the town of Pequet with the power to call forth and train the male inhabitants. Thomas served in the Indian colonial wars. In 1650 Thomas Miner and Jonathan Brewster were made the first deputies to the General Court from Pequot.
