     He married Hannah Palmer at Stonington, New London, CT, on 25 August 1681.

     Thomas was born at Chew Magna, Somersetshire, England, on 23 April 1608. He was the son of Clement Minor. He married Grace Palmer on 23 April 1634. Thomas died on 23 October 1690 at Stonington, New London, CT.
     He came to America on the ship Lyon's Whelp from Gravesend, England on 25 April 1629 and arrived at Salem, Massachusetts in mid July 1629. Shortly after his arrival in Salem, then called Pequot Harbor, there was an outbreak of typhus and Thomas moved to Watertown, Massachusetts. He was there only briefly. He moved to Charlestown where in 1632 he became a founder of the First Church, his name appearing 34th on the roll. On 4 March 1633/34 he was made freeman. Two years later he was granted 4 acres of land at the line of Newtown (now Cambridge) and by 1637 he owned a 10 acre plot of land. He settled in Hingham, Massachusetts and stayed there until 1645. He then joined John Winthrop Jr's colony of puritans in the settlement of New London, Connecticut. In 1649 Thomas was appointed Miilitary Sargaent in the town of Pequet with the power to call forth and train the male inhabitants. Thomas served in the Indian colonial wars. In 1650 Thomas Miner and Jonathan Brewster were made the first deputies to the General Court from Pequot. In 1652 he moved to Pawcatuck (now Stonington) and cofounded the town with William Chesebrough, Thomas Stanton, and his father-in-law Walter Palmer.

     Elizabeth was born circa 1637. She was the daughter of Francis Griswold and (?) (?). She married Jonas Palmer at Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA, on 3 May 1655. Elizabeth died in 1692.
     As of 3 May 1655,her married name was Palmer.

     He was christened at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, on 4 June 1637. Elisha Chesebrough was the son of William Chesebrough and Anne Stevenson. He married Rebecca Palmer at Stonington, New London, CT, on 20 April 1665. Elisha died on 1 April 1670 at Stonington, New London, CT.

     John was born circa 1635. He married Rebecca Palmer on 24 July 1672. John died on 19 August 1683.

     Mary was born at Westerly, RI, in 1711. She was the daughter of Joseph Stanton and Esther Gallup. She married Peleg Sanford Mason on 4 November 1742. A. Onstad indicates his name was Joseph Mason. The Stanton book says it was Peleg Sanford Mason of Conn..¹ Mary died on 16 February 1761.¹
     Mary Stanton was also known as Mary Stanton.² Her married name was Mason. She and Peleg Sanford Mason lived in 1745 at Lebanon, Conn. Having moved from Stonington.

     Peleg Sanford Mason was the son of Capt. John Mason and Ann Sanford Noyes. He married Mary Stanton on 4 November 1742. A. Onstad indicates his name was Joseph Mason. The Stanton book says it was Peleg Sanford Mason of Conn..¹

     Anne was born at Stonington, New London, CT, on 7 November 1743. She was the daughter of Peleg Sanford Mason and Mary Stanton.

     Esther was born at Lebanon, CT, on 12 November 1748. She was the daughter of Peleg Sanford Mason and Mary Stanton.

     James was born on 27 April 1759. He was the son of Peleg Sanford Mason and Mary Stanton. He married Mary Beaumont. He married Mary Beaumont. James died on 10 September 1820 at Preston, NY.

     Mary was born on 20 August 1761. She was the daughter of William Beaumont and Sarah Everett. She married James Mason. Mary died on 8 May 1836 at Preston, NY.
     Her married name was Mason.

     Peleg was born in 1781. He was the son of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     Sarah was born on 6 July 1782. She was the daughter of James Mason and Mary Beaumont. She married Dan Huntington Throop. Sarah died on 26 August 1867.
     Her married name was Wait. Her married name was Throop.

     James was born in 1783. He was the son of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     Nancy was born in 1785. He was the son of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     William was born in 1786. He was the son of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     Mary was born in 1787. She was the daughter of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     Abigail was born in 1789. She was the daughter of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     Esther was born in 1790. She was the daughter of James Mason and Mary Beaumont.

     Dan was born at Lebanon, CT, on 10 December 1777. He was the son of Capt. Dan Throop and Rachel Terry. He married Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason. Dan died on 20 April 1831.

     Mary was born on 25 May 1803. She was the daughter of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason. Mary died on 26 May 1867 at Preston, NY.
     Her married name was Sabin.

     Abigail was born on 21 March 1805. She was the daughter of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason. Abigail died on 12 December 1871 at Mt. Pleasant, IA.
     Her married name was Sweet.

     William was born on 3 May 1807. He was the son of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason.

     George was born on 19 July 1810. He was the son of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason. He married Deborah Goldsmith. George died on 17 September 1849.

     Susan was born on 15 May 1812. She was the daughter of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason.

     Rachel was born on 26 October 1816. She was the daughter of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason. Rachel died in June 1872 at Preston, NY.
     Her married name was Dwight.

     Dan was born on 27 November 1819. He was the son of Dan Huntington Throop and Sarah (Sally) Stanton Mason. Dan died on 10 March 1888 at Mt. Pleasant, IA.

     Deborah was born at Brookfield, NY, on 14 August 1808. She was the daughter of Richard Goldsmith and Ruth Miner. She married George Addison Throop. Deborah died on 16 March 1836.
     Her married name was Throop.

     Cordelia was born on 17 November 1833. She was the daughter of George Addison Throop and Deborah Goldsmith. She married Rev. William Ramey Cole at Henry, Marshall Co., IA, on 31 December 1856. Cordelia died on 29 April 1900 at Mt. Pleasant, IA.
     As of 31 December 1856,her married name was Cole.
