Sabrina Tracy
F, b. 12 April 1790, d. 10 September 1842
Sabrina was born at Charleston, Montgomery Co., NY, on 12 April 1790. Was Sabrina born in Hornby? This is what the William Stanton book says "She was b. April 12, 1790, and d. Sept. 10, 1842, in Hornby." What is the proper interpretation of how he punctuates? He didn't say born---; and died ---, in Hornby. That would clearly make Hornby apply to the death only. Emma Lou Stanislav believes the birth place is unknown.. She was baptized at Church at Ryders Corners, Charleston, Montgomery Co., NY, on 15 May 1814. Religion: Baptist. She married Elisha Stanton at Charleston, Montgomery Co., Ny, on 7 October 1810. The minister, Elijah Herrick, married Elisha and Sabrina as well as their son John Tracy and Salina. It is of interest because Elijah is an ancestor of Orlo Bonner who married Mable Rea a descendant of Elisha..1 Sabrina died on 10 September 1842 at Hornby, Steuben Co., NY. She was buried at West Hill Cemetery, Hornby, Steuben Co., NY.
As of 7 October 1810, Sabrina Tracy was also known as Sabiny Stanton. As of 7 October 1810,her married name was Stanton. About 1795 was born John Tracy, the son of Nathan Tracy and Mary Arnold. Is this Sabrina's brother?
