     Henry Bliss Stanton was born on 11 March 1834 at Lowell, MA.. He was the son of Henry Baker Stanton and Lydia Dana. Henry Bliss Stanton died on 14 October 1867 at Lowell, MA.
     Enlisted at Marietta, Ohio, in 1861, and served under Rosekrans, iun West Virginia, under Butler and Banks at Ship Island, and in Louisiana; crossed the country via Port Hudson and served under Sheridan until shot through the right lung at Cedar Creek, when Sheridan made his famous ride, in Oct., 1864. Mr. Stanton was in Co. D., 30th Mass. Regt., called the Eastern Bay State Regt. After being wounded he lived three years.

     George Francis Stanton was born on 16 December 1835 at Lowell, MA.. He was the son of Henry Baker Stanton and Lydia Dana. George Francis Stanton married Ellen E. Buttrick, daughter of John Buttrick and Lucretia (?), on 3 January 1867 at Lowell, MA. No issue.
     George Francis Stanton lived in 1891 at 21 Congregqtional House, Boston, MA. He was a Congregational clergyman, an alumnus of Amherst College, class of '63, and of Bangor Theol. Sem. He was ordained at Gardner, Mass., June 6, 1866. He preached at Milford, N.H., one year, Fitchburg, Mass., two years. Installed at South Weymouth, Mass., Oct. 27, 1870, and served as pastor there until 1885. IN 1891 he was acting pastor of the Congregational church at Sharon, Mass.

     Ellen E. Buttrick was the daughter of John Buttrick and Lucretia (?). Ellen E. Buttrick married George Francis Stanton, son of Henry Baker Stanton and Lydia Dana, on 3 January 1867 at Lowell, MA. No issue.
     As of 3 January 1867,her married name was Stanton.

     Elmira Stanton was born on 28 January 1838.. She was the daughter of Henry Baker Stanton and Lydia Dana. Elmira Stanton died on 25 December 1865. Drowned while a teacher of freedmen in South Carolina.
