I believe that the Cora B. with this TX death date is identical to the Cora Belle Persing who married George W. Gibby, since 1) Cora's last known residence was in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX (1930 federal census) where she was living along with her son-in-law William Clarke after the death of his wife and her daughter Joyce P; 2) Gibby is an extremely rare surname; it is highly unlikely that there was another Cora B. Gibby living in Bexar Co., TX, in 1950, 3) Note that Cora B. was the only person with surname of Gibby living in all of Bexar Co., TX, in the 1930 federal census, and 4) Note also that Cora B. was the only female with the Gibby surname who died in all of Texas in the ten year period from 1946 through 1955 (there were only two TX Gibby males who died in this period).¹
