     Esther Stanton married an unknown person . She married Maj. James Babcock, son of Capt. James Babcock and Content Maxson, in 1757. She was of Charlestown, RI.1 Esther Stanton died in 1765.1
     Esther Stanton was also known as Sarah The Stanton book lists her as Esther Stanton who married Babcock. In my copy of the book Esther has been crossed out and Sarah written below. As of 1757,her married name was Babcock.
