Samuel was born at Westerly, Ri, on 13 December 1787. Stanton Garner indicates it may have been 1787 or 1788..1 He was the son of Samuel Berry and Mollie Foster. He married Lucy Stanton at Hopkinton, Ri, on 13 April 1813. Samuel died on 8 March 1830 at Caton, Steuben Co., Ny.
