     Daniel Denison was born on 11 November 1707.. He was the son of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton. Daniel died in 1718.

     Beebe Denison was born on 27 January 1709.. He was the son of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton.

     Rachel was born on 16 July 1710. She was the daughter of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton.

     Esther Denison was born on 22 March 1712.. She was the daughter of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton. She married Isaac Smith on 4 November 1729.

     Lucy Denison was born on 13 October 1714.. She was the daughter of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton. She married Jonas Prentice on 29 November 1733.
     As of 29 November 1733,her married name was Prentice.

     John Denison was born on 21 October 1716.. He was the son of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton.

     Daniel Denison was born on 22 March 1721 at Stonington, Ct.. He was the son of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton. He married Esther Wheeler on 27 May 1742.

     Phebe Denison was born on 24 April 1723.. She was the daughter of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton.
     Her married name was Avery.

     Sarah was born in 1724. She was the daughter of Deacon Daniel Denison and Mary Stanton.

     Esther Wheeler was the daughter of William Wheeler and Hannah Gallup. She married Daniel Denison on 27 May 1742.
     Her married name was Denison.

     William Denison Jr. was the son of William Denison and Mercy Gallup. He married Prudence Denison.

     He married Lucy Denison on 29 November 1733.

     He married Esther Denison on 4 November 1729.

     Katherine was born at Boston, MA, on 23 December 1698. She was the daughter of Thomas Simpkins. She married Rev. Robert Stanton at Salem, MA, on 5 May 1719. Katherine died in 1760.
     As of 5 May 1719,her married name was Stanton. Of Boston, Mass. According to the Stanto nbook: After her husband's death Katherine moved to Boston; she was admitted to the Second church there Dec. 24, 1727. She had considerable property. From her mother's father, James Barton, she received property on Ann St., Boston. She inherited property, also, from her father's father, Pilgrim Simpkins, whose will was made in 1714 and admitted to probate in Jan. 1720. He was a wealthy man and gave his property to his sons John and Nicholas, to his daughters Marian, Rebecca and Sarah, and to the children of his son Thomas who d. in 1706.

Katherine's husband's estate was settled by her brother William. In 1754 she mortgaged herproperty on Ann St. to this brother, William Simpkins, in security for a loan of money "for her support". She died in 1760 and letters of administration on her estate were granted Dec. 25, 1760. The estate was settled by her brother William; the inventory was only Pound 84, which barely sufficed to pay debts and expenses.

Oct. 31, 1766 William Simpkins sells her land in final settlement of the estate. Her sons, if living, would have been old enough to have attended to this settlement, but there is no mention of her children. One of three conclusions is inevitable: (1) that they were dead by 1760; (2) that they were at a distance and the estae was not worth their attention; (3) that her land was heavily mortgaged and the mortgage held by her brother William, who simply foreclosed it by advertising; if so, there really was no necessity for the appearance for her children's names in the record. At the sale in 1766 Robert, her son, would have been 43 years old.

     Thomas was born at Salem, Mass, on 15 May 1720. He was the son of Rev. Robert Stanton and Katherine Simpkins.

     Joanna was born at Salem, Mass, on 28 July 1722. She was the daughter of Rev. Robert Stanton and Katherine Simpkins.

     Robert was born at Salem, Mass, on 8 October 1723. He was the son of Rev. Robert Stanton and Katherine Simpkins.
     The Stanton book believes that the following notes found in a Boston church record may refer to Robert and his:

"Robert Stanton admitted to New North Church, April 12, 1741"
"Robert (son of Robert and Elizabeth Stanton) baptized in Christ Church, Boston, July 5, 1747, and buried Sept. 13, 1748."
"Dr. Robert Stanton dismissed from N. Church, Boston, to Stafford, Ct., Sept. 16, 1770."
"Robert Stanton m. Elizabeth Ballard, dau. of Phebe (Mitchell) Ballard, who was dau. of Capt John Mitchell."
The Roberts admitted to NOrth Church in 1741 and dismissed to Stafford in 1770 are evidently the same. This Dr. Robert d. at Stafford in 1817 and was said to be 104 years old, i.e. b. in 1713. But Robert was b. in 1723 and cannot be Dr. Robert if Dr. Robert's age at death was 104.

The child Robert who d. in 1748 ws clearly the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Ballard) Stanton, but it cannot now bep roven that Robert married Elizabeth Ballard. Time may reveal something to solve this problem. This additional item appeared so late as May 17, 1889 in the Boston "Transcript":

Old Gravestones at Copps' Hill
In tearing down the old Robert Newman house on the corner of Sheafe and Salem streets, the contractors for rebuilding, Holmes Brothers, of 22 Congress Street, found an ancient gravestone in the foundation of the oven, bearing the following inscription:
Anna
Greenough
Aged 5 yeares
3 months
Deceased the 18 Day of May
1674

The stone was in all probability taken by the masons from the Copps' Hilll ground and the contractors very proplerly placed the stone in the hands of Superintendent McDonald, whjo has found a place for it near th Greenough family stones in the grounds. A day or two since Mr. Patrick B. Maguire noticed on the lower side of the old cemetery, between the Jones monument and the Sarah Rule stone, wht he imagined might be the top of an old gravestone. On digging, his supposiiton was found to be correct, and a good-sized stone was unearthed, standing upright, which hadsunk into the ground orb een covered by washings form the hill. It contains the following inscription:
Robert Stanton
Son of Mr.
Robert and Mrs.
Eliz'th Stanton,
Aged 1 year ad 3
mo. died
Sept. 10, 1748.

Neither of these stones is mentioned in Whitmore's volume.

     Margery was born at Salem, Mass, on 10 September 1725. She was the daughter of Rev. Robert Stanton and Katherine Simpkins.

     William was born at Salem, CT, on 12 June 1727. He was the son of Rev. Robert Stanton and Katherine Simpkins. He married an unknown person . William died in December 1806 at Litchfield, CT.

     Katharine Stanton was born on 28 September 1829 at Fairfield, NJ.. She was the daughter of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. Katharine Stanton married Andrew Devendorff, son of John Devendorff, on 22 February 1850 at Manheim, NY. Katharine Stanton died on 1 October 1860 at Raritan, Henderson, Ill.
     As of 22 February 1850,her married name was Devendorff.

     Freeman Stanton was the son of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter.

     Martha was born at Little Falls, Ny, on 6 May 1834. She was the daughter of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. She married Israel Keller on 24 December 1855. Martha died on 9 September 1856 By a runaway horse..
     As of 24 December 1855,her married name was Keller.

     James was born at Little Falls, NY, on 10 September 1835. He was the son of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. James Stanton married Emma Adams, daughter of Charles Adams Sr.. James Stanton married Elizabeth (?). James Stanton married Ada A. Hungerford in 1878.
     James enlisted in the U.S. Army, Sept. 15, 1861, and served under Halleck and Grant. AFter his discharge he married Elizabeth. James Stanton lived in 1891 at On a farm, Norden, Rapapaha county, Neb..

     Michael was born at Fairfield, Ny, on 12 March 1837. A twin.. He was the son of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. Michael died on 24 April 1837.

     George Henry Stanton was the son of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. George Henry Stanton married Barbara Snell, daughter of Daniel Snell and Mary Ann (?), on 17 November 1858. George Henry Stanton married Lucinda Shelmer on 25 March 1885.

     Emily was born at Manheim, Ny, on 10 November 1839. She was the daughter of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter.
     According to William Stanton, "unmarried, and lives with her father in Preble, NY. She has been a faithful daughter in caring for her parents in their old age, and has given material service in family facts to the writer of this book."

     Elizabeth was born at Manheim, Ny, on 8 July 1843. She was the daughter of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. She married Walter Nelson on 20 November 1862.
     As of 20 November 1862,her married name was Nelson. Elizabeth Stanton lived in 1891 at Little Falls, NNY.

     John was born at Little Falls, Ny, on 23 January 1845. He was the son of Elijah Stanton and Anna Feeter. He married Charlotte Hewitt at Utica, NY, on 5 January 1865.
     John W. lives with his father Elijah near Preble, Cortland county, NY on a farm. The farm has 240 acres.

     Charlotte Hewitt was the daughter of Joseph Hewitt. She married John Warren Stanton at Utica, NY, on 5 January 1865.
     As of 5 January 1865,her married name was Stanton.

     Walter Nelson was the son of John Nelson and Janette Nelson. He married Elizabeth Stanton on 20 November 1862.
     Walter Nelson lived in 1891 at Fairfield, NY. (or Little Falls).

     Israel Keller was the son of John Keller. He married Martha Ann Stanton on 24 December 1855.

     Lyman served in the military. He resided at Belfast, Allegany Co., Ny, after .

     Eliza A. Smith was the daughter of Henry A. Smith. She married Nathan Stanton at Portage, NY, on 27 June 1849.
     As of 27 June 1849,her married name was Stanton. Eliza A. Smith lived in 1891 at Huat's, Livingston, NY.
