     Elizabeth was born at New London, Conn, in 1820.1 She was the daughter of Thomas West and Abby Weeks. Elizabeth died in 1843 tuberculosisNovember 17th she was confined to the house with a severe cold which rapidly developed into quick consumption. Her death was triumphant..1
     About four years before her death she united with the Clochester Baptist Church. She spent the last summer of her life teaching school. In October she atttended a week in Evangelistic services in New London and was greatly blessed in faith, and she returned home happy in mind and determined to labor for God and souls more zealously than ever before.
