     Elias was born at Port Allegany, McKean Co., PA, on 20 January 1820.¹ He was the son of Lodowick Lillibridge and Anna Carpenter Stanton. He married Jane Anne Grimes.² Elias died on 4 April 1887 His obituary Friday, April 15, 1887 in the Post Reporter, Port Allegany reads:
     
Elias Lillibridge died at this home on Lillibridge Creek on Monday evening, April 4th 1887, aged 67 years, two months and 14 days. He leaves a wfie and four children, two sons and two daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and tender husband and loving father, also three brothers and four sisters, nearly all residents of this place, of whom he was the oldest. It is supposed, and of this there is little doubt, that he was the first white male child born in this township, his father's and his mother's family, the Stantons, being about the earliest settlers of the county, a good portion oft he land on which this village now stands being at one time owned, and partially cleared by his father, Lodowick Lillibridge. At that time the game in this vicinity was numerous. One could hear the wolves howling at night, bears and panthers would closely approach the settlers homes, and it was not an uncommon sight in the early morning to see a small herd of deer contentedly grazing with the cattle, close to the house.
     
For years previous to his death, Mr. Lillibridge had suffered considerable with an ulcerated and inflamed leg, which was aggravated by incessant labor, as long as he was able to be around, and which, to some extent, was the cause of his death. In his younger years, he made many clearings in the dense forest, and has, by contract and otherwise, made many miles of roads, the first made in the county.
     
He was a member of the United Bretheren church for the past fourteen years, during which time he led a consistent Christian life, firm in the faith of our Blessed Savior, and has repeatedly of late expressed himself as anxious and willing to leave this world of sin and sorrow, for a better home above. [Note: there was a poem included with this obituary, but due to poor microfilm copy it was impossible to read.]
     Note that the Stanton book indicates he died in 1877. at Port Allegany, McKean Co., PA.¹ His body was interred at Port Allegany, McKean Co., PA, at Churchyard Cemetery.
     He was a famer and had an extensive farm on Lillibridge Creek, which was still in the hands of his descendants in 1984.

     Jane was born at Bradford Co., PA, on 28 January 1826.¹ She married Elias Lillibridge.³ Jane died on 26 January 1898 at Port Allegany, McKean Co., PA.¹

     Clara Catherine Stanton was born on 8 June 1845 at Mt. Pleasant, Henry, IA.. She was the daughter of Dr. Daniel Stanton and Lydia Chadwick. She married George Nelson Moore at Franklin, Venango, PA, on 10 January 1876.
     Her married name was Moore. Clara Catherine Stanton and George Nelson Moore lived in 1891 at Olean, NY.

     William Stanton was the son of Dr. Daniel Stanton and Lydia Chadwick. William died.
