     Clarence Wellborne Stanton was born on 25 April 1847 at Hamlin Town, McKean, PA.. He was the son of Abel Morse Stanton and Sarah Scott. He married Emma Van Wormer at Cohocton, Steuben, NY, in 1875.
      In 1891 he was praticing law in Cohocton. In politics he was a Democrat and Prohibionist. Clarence Wellborne Stanton and Emma Van Wormer lived in 1891 at Cohocton, Steuben, NY.

      As of 1870,her married name was Sprague.

     John was born at CT on 30 January 1790.1 He was the son of John Stanton and Mary (Polly) Palmer. He married Margaret Dodge. No issue from this marriage..1 John died on 2 June 1866 at Walworth Co., Wis.1 He was buried at Little Prairie Cemetery, Walworth Co., WI.1
      He fought in the War of 1812 and then removed to Walworth County, Wisconsin. His wife's tombstone says she was the wife of Col. John C. Stanton.1

     Nehemiah was born at CT in 1792.1 He was the son of John Stanton and Mary (Polly) Palmer. He married Almira Barnes. Nehemiah died on 13 December 1856 at Jackson, Jackson Co., MI.1 He was buried at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, Jackson, MI.1
      Nehemiah Palmer Stanton was also known as N. P. Stanton.1 Nehemiah Palmer Stanton was also known as Nehemiah P. Stanton.1 He was born in Connecticut and lived in New York until the 1830's. He and his family, including his father, moved to Jackson county, Michigan and opened Stanton & Tiffany's Exhcnage (an inn, store, and tavern). He was local politician and judge. His activiities are well documented in the history of Jackson County.1

     Hannah was born at Onondago Co., NY, circa 1801.1 She was the daughter of John Stanton and Mary (Polly) Palmer. She married Allen Rice.1 Hannah Stanton died on 19 September 1881 at WI. She is buried in Evergreen/Quarterline cemetery next to her husband. Also buried adjacent if Albert Hibbard the husband of hannah's daughter Mary A. Rice.
     Her married name was Rice.

     He married Mary Palmer Stanton.1 Julius Herman Mason died in 1896 at Mukwanago, WI.1 He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Walworth Co., MI.1
      Julius and Mary had seven children and then removed to Walworth Co., Wisconsin. Numerous books and historical sources in Wisconsin have documented Julius Mason as an early pioneer, and biographies include information about Mary.1
