He married Margaret March. Margaret was born 1826 in Glasglow, Scotland. William was employed as shoemaker 1830's.

William Rea and Margaret March had the following children:

  • 40 i. Susan5 Rea was born 1849. Susan died 11 Jan 1853.

  • 41 ii. Margaret Melvile Rea was born 24 Oct 1851.

  • 42 iii. David Inglis Rea was born 25 Jul 1858.
