2. David2 Allerdice (John1) was born in Plans of Cossans, Glammis Parish, Forfarshire, Scotland 12 Oct 1817. David died 30 Apr 1855 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

He married Margaret Rea 18 Sep 1841 in Glammis, Forfarshire, Scotland. Margaret was born 2 Jan 1818 in Arnyfoul, Glammis Parish, Forfarshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of James Rae and Barbara Gibson. Margaret died 8 Oct 1901 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In the Census of 1850, David was listed as a head of household in Warren (Merton), Waukesha Co., Wisconsin. The following individual is also linked to this event: John J. Rea (Household head).

David Allerdice and Margaret Rea had the following children:
