He married Elizabeth Mary Gennotti 4 Jun 1977 in Groton, New London Co., Connecticut. Elizabeth was born 2 Nov 1958 New London, New London, Connecticut. She is the daughter of Gerald Gennotti and Louise Matie Shabareck.

Donald William Bennett III and Elizabeth Mary Gennotti had the following children:

  • 9 i. Sommer Rea5 Bennett was born in Groton, New London Co., Connecticut 15 Aug 1978.

  • 10 ii. Donald William Bennett IV was born in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma 20 Apr 1981.
