He married Jean Bennett 5 Oct 1951 in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado. Jean was born 22 Jun 1932 in Kenbro, Greenwood Co., Kansas. She is the daughter of Donald William Bennett and Eliza Brader Rea.

Earl DeWolf Van Housen and Jean Bennett had the following children:

  • 3 i. Terri Lee3 Van Housen was born in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado 25 Jun 1952. She married Michael Kyle Stevens 28 Apr 1973.

  • 4 ii. John Eric Van Housen was born in Denver, Denver Co., Colorado 15 Jun 1954.
