1. Demetrius (James)¹ Karafotis birth date unknown. Demetrius died August 1995 Mytilene, Lesvos Greece.

He married Kalliope Keneklis. Kalliope was the daughter of Theodore Nicholas Keneklis and (Female) Paraskivas. She resides in Dartmouth, Mass 1996. With her daughter Helen. He came to the United States in the 1960's but returned to Mytilene.

Demetrius (James) Karafotis and Kalliope Keneklis had the following children:

+ 2 i. Spiro² Karafotis (still alive).

3 ii. Helen (Nitsa) Karafotis. She married James Kronteres. (See James Kronteres for the continuation of this line.)
