1. Demetris¹ Kenderis birth date unknown.

He married Aphrodite Avtgis.⁽¹⁰⁰⁾ Aphrodite was the daughter of Stratis Avtgis and Maria ??. Demetris is the family connection to the artist Theophilus Hatzimichail one of the island's great painters. His museum is south of Mytilene. Demetris's grandfather was the greatgrandfather of Theophilus. This is the line according to Theofano Kenderis given by her to Brian Mavrogeorge in 1997: (first generation) Kenderis had a daughter. The (second genration) daughter had a (third generation) ?? who was the parent of (fourth generation) Theophilus. The (first generation) Kenderis also had a son (second generation) ?? Kenderis. He has a son (third generation) Demetrios. Demetrios had a daughter (fourth generation) Theofano. As an added note - Theofano's daughter Athena lived in 1997 but a few yards from the Theophilus museum.

Demetris Kenderis and Aphrodite Avtgis had the following children:
