He married Sarah Goodhue in Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 2 Dec 1692. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph Goodhue and Sarah Whipple. In 1726 John and his wife moved to Stonington, Connecticut and in 1727 to Preston, Connecticut.

30 vii. Jacob Kimball was born Boston, Suffolk Co., MA 12 Oct 1706. Jacob died 4 May 1788 in Bethesda, MD. He married three times. He married Anna ??. He married Martha ??. He married Mary Parke 24 Feb 1730.
31 viii. Abigail Kimball was born 11 Oct 1709. She married ? Killam.
32 ix. Sarah Kimball. She married twice. She married ? Stoddard. She married Richard Parke 13 Nov 1736.
