Frans was a carpenter in Beverwyck in 1656, in Kinderhook in 1683, and was called "Kint Van Weelden".

Frans Pieterse Clauw had the following child:

2 i. Judith² Clauw. She married Jacob Janse Van Hoesen. Jacob was born Astoria, Long Island Co., NY 1657. Also given in sources as "in the colony of Renselaerwyck". Jacob was the son of Jan Fransse Van Hoesen and Volkie Jurrianse Van Northstrand. (See Jacob Janse Van Hoesen for the continuation of this line.)
