He married Cynthia Ann Stanton Delphi, Onondaga Co., Ny, 10 March 1842. Cynthia was born New Woodstock, Ny 28 Oct 1820. Cynthia was the daughter of Oliver Stanton and Rhoda Underwood. Cynthia died after 1891. She resided in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY 1891.

6 v. Benjamin W. Baum was born New Woodstock, Ny 19 July 1850. Benjamin died 18 February 1886 in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY. He married Augusta Krieger Berlin, Germany, 8 January 1880.
7 vi. Edwin C. Baum was born New Woodstock, Ny 26 September 1853. Edwin died 15 June 1856 Chittenango, Ny.

9 viii. Harry Clay Baum MD was born Chittenango, Ny 3 March 1859.
10 ix. George Mcclelland Baum was born in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY 24 December 1861. George died 8 Nov 1863.
