1. Charles Wesley1 Edgbert birth date unknown. His body was interred Homer, Ny, Atwater Cemetery.

He married three times. He married Mercelia Stanton December 1879. Mercelia was born 8 May 1857. Mercelia was the daughter of Rev. James Stanton and Janette Patterson. Mercelia died 1943 Locke, Ny. Her body was interred Homer, Ny, Atwater Cemetery. Her marriage to an unknown person was annulled Glen Haven, Ny, before 1940. Until it was sold. She stayed on for several years in Syracuse after her parents left for Glen Haven, working for a bank. But she loved the country and finally went home to live. She used to drive a team of horses and a sleigh to take the eggs to Homer, NY to sell in the wintertime and would stop at her future husband's parent's home to get warm. At that time he was in Oklahoma, where he went after serving in the Navy in WWI, but he came back to NY in 1929.

He married Lula ?? 1964. He married Maryjo Gallagher 1968. Maryjo was born in Scotland.

He resided Copenhagen, Lewis Co., Ny 1888. He resided Locke, Ny 1935 to 1964. He resided Cortland, Ny 1964-199?. He resided Near Lisle, Ny 1996. Had a farm near Glen Haven, NY. After his marriage he moved to Locke NY in 1935 where he lived until 1964.

Charles Wesley Edgbert and Mercelia Stanton had the following children:

child + 3 ii. Harrison (Harry) Stanton Edgbert was born 11 Aug 1888.

child 4 iii. Gladys Jeanette Edgbert was born 1895. Gladys died 1963. Her body was interred Homer, Ny, Atwater Cemetery. She married Louis Hammon 1931. Louis was born 1897. (See Louis Hammon for the continuation of this line.)
