2 i. Sarah Caroline² Kinney was born Voluntown, Conn 2 December 1837. She married Rev. William Edwin Stanton Norwich, Conn, 2 July 1863. William was born in Preston, New London, CT 12 Feb 1839. William was the son of Lodowick B. Stanton and Hannah Stanton. He resided San Mateo, Florida 1891. (See Rev. William Edwin Stanton for the continuation of this line.) William Stanton's book says her name is Sarah E. Kinney in the family group of her father-in-law but lists her name as Sarah Caroline Kinney in her husband's family group.
