2. Nathaniel² Chesebro (William¹ Chesebrough) was born Roxbury, Mass 29 Jan 1628/9. Nathaniel died 22 Nov 1678 Stonington, New London, CT.

He married Hannah Denison.

Nathaniel Chesebro and Hannah Denison had the following children:

3 i. Hannah³ Chesebro was born 1671. She married Joseph Prentice.

4 ii. Margaret Chesebro was born about 1677. When married she was "19". She married Joseph Stanton 18 Jul 1696. Joseph was born 22 Jan 1668. Joseph was the son of Capt John Stanton and Hannah Thompson. Joseph died 1751. He died without a will, and his estate was divided among his three sons and four daughters then living.

He resided Stonington, New London, CT. On the Stanton homestead farm whic he inherited from his father. (See Joseph Stanton for the continuation of this line.)
