201. Nathan⁹ Stanton (Joseph⁸, John⁷, Capt John⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, John², Thomas¹) was born in Preston, New London, CT 16 August 1741. Nathan died Stanton's Hill, Albany Co., Ny.

He married Sarah Cogsdil. Sarah was his mother's niece. Was a physician.

Nathan Stanton and Sarah Cogsdil had the following children:

+ 435 i. Elijah¹⁰ Stanton was born 1780.

436 ii. Abigail Stanton. Abigail died probably young.

437 iii. Lucy Stanton was born ca 1780. She married Conrad Freedy in near Cobleskill, NY. (See Conrad Freedy for the continuation of this line.)

438 iv. Sarah Stanton. Sarah died probably young.

439 v. Rachel Stanton.

+ 440 vi. Nathan Stanton was born 28 March 1778.
