9. Samuel B. C.⁵ West (Rev. Samuel⁴, Thomas³, William², Francis¹) was born Norwich, Conn 25 Feb 1798.⁽⁴⁶⁸²⁾ Samuel died 21 Feb 1876 in Lenox, Susquehanna Co., PA.

He married Harriet Bailey.⁽⁴⁶⁸³⁾

26 ii. Levi West was born in Madison, CT 28 Feb 1822.⁽⁴⁶⁸⁶⁾ He married Mary E. Jenkins.⁽⁴⁶⁸⁷⁾

He resided in P.O. Factoryville, Wyoming Co., PA 1897.

27 iii. Mary Louisa West was born in Madison, CT 8 Mar 1824.⁽⁴⁶⁸⁸⁾ She married Griswold O. Loomis.⁽⁴⁶⁸⁹⁾

She resided in P.O. Hopbottom, Susquehanna Co., PA 1897.

28 iv. Susanna West was born in Madison, CT 2 Aug 1826.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁰⁾ Susanna died 12 Sep 1863.⁽⁴⁶⁹¹⁾ Unmarried. She lived with her parents until her death. She also spent some time at the home of her Uncle David S. West in Wayne Co., assisting in the care of her invalid cousin, Nancy. She was a very gifted woman especially skilled in the decorative art, painting curtains for the home and people in the neighborhood.

29 v. Thomas West was born in Madison, CT 1 Aug 1828.⁽⁴⁶⁹²⁾ He married Mary E. Gere.⁽⁴⁶⁹³⁾

He resided in Brooklyn, Susquehanna Co., PA 1897.

30 vi. Ann Maria West was born in Madison, CT 18 Jan 1831.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁴⁾ Ann died bef 1897. She married Sidney E. Loomis.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁵⁾

31 vii. Samuel E. West was born in Madison, CT 3 Jan 1834.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁶⁾ He married Rebecca Capp.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁷⁾

He resided in P.O. Traverse City, Mich 1897.

32 viii. William Francis West was born in Madison, CT 3 Aug 1836.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁸⁾ He married twice. He married Clara Francis.⁽⁴⁶⁹⁹⁾ He married Ella Francis.⁽⁴⁷⁰⁰⁾

He resided Middletown, Conn 1897.

33 ix. Elvira Jerusha West was born in Madison, CT 29 Nov 1838.⁽⁴⁷⁰¹⁾ She married William F. Caney(Coney).⁽⁴⁷⁰²⁾

She resided Ware, Mass 1897.

34 x. Harriet Rebecca West was born in Lenox, PA 5 Jun 1841.⁽⁴⁷⁰³⁾ She married Henry H. Burns.⁽⁴⁷⁰⁴⁾

She resided in P.O. Traverse City, Mich 1897.
