1. Asa1 Cady was born in Chatham, Columbia Co., NY 4 Apr 1779. Asa died 21 Jul 1854.

He married Anna Stanton in Florida, NY, 23 Jan 1802. Anna was born Stonington, New London, CT 7 Dec 1784. Anna was the daughter of Nathan Stanton and Anna Stanton. Anna died 16 Mar 1827. She was baptized Stonington, New London, CT, 24 March 1793. Religion:. He was a farmer.

Asa Cady and Anna Stanton had the following children:

child 2 i. Daniel2 Cady was born in Sullivan, NY 14 Sep 1817. He married Fidelia W. Palmer 4 Jan 1840.

He resided in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY 1891.

child 3 ii. (child) Cady was born in Sullivan, NY 19 Sep 1819. (child) died 19 Sep 1819.

child 4 iii. Martha Sophia Cady was born in Sullivan, NY 1 Dec 1820. She married James Bell.

child 5 iv. Nathan Stanton Cady was born in Florida, NY 2 Feb 1803. Nathan died 1863. He married three times. He married Emeline Beecher. Emeline was the daughter of Judge Sylvester Beecher. Emeline died three years after her marriage. He married Louisa Beecher. Louisa was the daughter of Judge Sylvester Beecher. He married Calista Blye.

He resided in Lenox, Madison Co., NY before 1863.

child 6 v. George W. Cady was born in Florida, NY 25 Jan 1805. George died 30 Oct 1829.

child 7 vi. Eliza A. Cady was born in Florida, NY 11 Jun 1807. Eliza died 28 Nov 1879. She married John Brown. (See John Brown for the continuation of this line.)

child 8 vii. Harriet Cady was born in Florida, NY 4 Dec 1809. Harriet died 1843. She married C. D. Palmer M.D. (See C. D. Palmer M.D. for the continuation of this line.)

child 9 viii. Asa W. Cady was born in Florida, NY 10 Nov 1811.

child 10 ix. Mary Jane Cady was born in Sullivan, NY 23 Aug 1813. Mary died 17 Jun 1814.

child 11 x. Benjamin F. Cady was born in Sullivan, NY 13 May 1815. He married Deborah Cary.

He resided in Lenox, Madison Co., NY 1891.

child 12 xi. Caroline Cady was born in Sullivan, NY 27 Dec 1822. Caroline died 4 Dec 1875. She married William Velasko in Sullivan, NY, 28 Aug 1845. He resided in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY 1891.
