2. Thomas2 Ghormley (Hugh1) was born 16 Oct 1766. Thomas died 17 May 1840.

He married Judith Bonner 15 Mar 1787. Judith was born 6 Dec 1770. Judith was the daughter of John Bonner and Sarah Walker. Judith died 3 Jun 1839. Her body was interred in Greenfield, Highland Co., Ohio, Old Greenfield Cemetery. Judith was a First Presbyterian Church member in Greenfield, Ohio.

He resided in Greenfield, Fayette Co., Ohio Spring 1813. They bought 531 acreas in the Walter Dunn grant, survey 669 of the Virginia Military Survey for $1,062. The land is located 4 miles north of Greenfield in Fayette Co. and in 1970 was still owned by he Ghormley family.

Thomas was a First Presbyterian Church member in Greenfield, Ohio.

child 3 i. William Logan3 Ghormley was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania 16 Dec 1808. William died 21 Jul 1886. He married Hannah Beatty 8 Feb 1836. Hannah was born 10 Jul 1808. Hannah died 6 Mar 1898. William was named for William Logan, the first pastor of Fermanagh Church in Juniata County, Pennsylvania.

child 4 ii. Sarah Ghormley was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania 29 Mar 1788. Sarah died 20 Apr 1871. Her body was interred in Highland Co., Ohio, Old Greenfield Cemetery. She married Ebenezer Erskine McElroy 13 Apr 1813. Ebenezer was born 22 Dec 1791. Ebenezer was the son of Hugh McElroy and Ann ??. Ebenezer died 31 Mar 1845. He resided in Ohio 1813. He resided in Chillicothe, Ross Co., Ohio 1813-1815. He resided three miles west of Paint Creek, Ohio about 1816. Where they bought 500 acres. child 5 iii. Hugh B. Ghormley was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania 7 Jul 1790. Hugh died 10 Nov 1854. He married Nancy Stewart 12 Dec 1813. Nancy was born 31 Oct 1795. Nancy was the daughter of Rev. William Stewart and Margaret Bonner. Nancy died 22 Feb 1860.

He resided in Buckskin Township, Ross Co., Ohio.

child 6 iv. Jane B. Ghormley was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania 10 Jun 1792. Jane died 1 Aug 1870. Her body was interred in Greenfield, Highland Co., Ohio. She married Nathaniel Bonner 2 Jun 1815. Her last name is given as Gormely - the source given for this information and the date is "LDS 0292630".

Nathaniel was born 27 Nov 1780. Nathaniel was the son of John Bonner and Sarah Walker. Nathaniel died 22 Sep 1860. His body was interred in Greenfield, Highland Co., Ohio. child 9 vii. Thomas Ghormley was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania 2 Feb 1801. Thomas died young. Unmarried.

child 10 viii. Eleanor Ghormley was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania 10 Mar 1803. Eleanor died 3 Jan 1870. She married Rev. William Dickey 25 Feb 1836.

She resided in Bloomington, Fayette Co., Ohio.
