He married Sarah Jane Britton in Hendricks County, In, 2 Sep 1852.⁽⁴⁵⁸²⁾ Sarah was born in Winchester, Hendricks County, In 10 May 1837. Sarah was the daughter of Nathaniel Britton and Emiline Faught. Sarah died 1 Oct 1919 in Toledo, Cumberland, Il.
