He married Marilla Stanton Berry in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, 21 Dec 1907.(2765) Marilla was born in Fort Preble, ME 2 Jun 1887.(2766) Marilla was the daughter of Lucien Grant Berry and Emily Ross Minier.

Thomas served in the military in Leon Springs, Texas, 17 Jul to 31 Aug 1910.(2767) Presumably on leave.

Thomas served in the military in Fort Myer, Virginia, 7 Sep 1910 to 5 Jan 1911.(2768) He commanded the 2nd Battalion.

Thomas served in the military in Fort Leavenworth, Texas, 7 Jan to 8 Mar 1911.(2769) He was a student at the Army Service Schools.

Thomas served in the military in San Antonio, Texas, 10 Mar to 31 Jul 1911.(2770) He commanded the 2nd Battalion. He was an infantry colonel who rose from the ranks. He was highly regarded in the army, but did not serve inportantly in World War II because of faril health.
