2 i. Mary² Esselstyn was born in Watertown, NY 10 Oct 1812. Mary died 9 Dec 1883 in Kirkville, NY. She married Rev. Freeman Harlow Stanton 10 January 1832. Freeman was born Deerfield, Ny 18 March 1809. Freeman was the son of Daniel Stanton and Dorcas Corbin. He was ordained a deacon in Oswego, NY, 1836. He was ordained an elder 1838 in Cortland, NY. Freeman was elected 1856. Freeman was elected 1860. He resided Rochester, Ny 1891. With his daughter Mary Deavenport. (See Rev. Freeman Harlow Stanton for the continuation of this line.)
