1. George A.¹ Smith was born in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny abt. 1912. George died 23 Feb 1995 in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny.

He married Eleanor Russell 10 Jun 1940. Eleanor was born abt. 1916. Eleanor was the daughter of Harold Russell and Lena Stanton. She resided in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny. George A. Smith & Eleanor Russell lived in Gramma Hannah Hoose Stanton's house in Barnersville. George's father, John, lived next to the M. E. Church in Barnersville, but attended the Free Methodist Church across the road. John claimed the Smith's were related to the Stantons thru a Robert Stanton, I (Eldon Stanton) think. As a boy, I remember Sunday School at the Free Methodist Church, with Gramma Stanton as teacher, and singing without any piano or any other music.

4 iii. Rev. Richard H. Smith was born in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny. Richard died in Cobleskill, NY.

5 iv. David J. Smith was born in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny. David died in Cobleskill, NY.

6 v. Gary M. Smith was born in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny. Gary died in Cobleskill, NY.
