He married twice. He married Sally Jackson. Sally died before 1794. He married Mehetable Morton after 1788. Mehetable was born 19 Oct 1774. Mehetable died 17 November 1846 S. Otselic, Ny.

He resided Norwich, Conn. He was a Methodist, a Democrat, and a farmer and carpenter.

418 vi. Eunice Stanton was born 31 Jul 1804. Eunice died 2 May 1877. She married Calvin W. French 1820. Calvin was born in Norwich, NY 22 June 1800. Calvin was the son of Asher French and Joanna ??. Calvin died 4 May 1881 in Granby Center, Oswego Co., NY. He resided in Granby, Oswego Co., NY 1821. They bought twenty-five acres of timber land on lot 73. There hey lived five years in a log-house. In 1826 they built a farm-house and this in turn gave place to the house in which their son Calvin W. French lied in 1891 on a farm of 125 acres. (See Calvin W. She resided North Pitcher, Chenango Co., Ny 1891.
