405. Daniel¹⁰ Stanton (John⁹, Daniel⁸, John⁷, Capt John⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Thomas³, John², Thomas¹) was born in Preston, New London, CT 15 Apr 1781.⁽⁴²⁶³⁾ Daniel died 26 Jan 1859 Copenhagen, Ny.

He married Dorcas Corbin 2 Feb 1806. Dorcas was born 9 Jan 1780. Dorcas died 6 Dec 1875.

He resided Charlestown, Ny about 1790. He was a Free Communion Baptist, a farmer, a Republican. He was a man thoroughly honest, and despised all that was counterfeit.

Daniel Stanton and Dorcas Corbin had the following children:

+ 753 i. John¹¹ Stanton was born 13 February 1807.

+ 754 ii. Rev. Freeman Harlow Stanton was born 18 March 1809.

+ 755 iii. Elijah Stanton was born 29 May 1811.

+ 756 iv. Dr. Lyman Stanton was born 21 July 1814.

757 v. Louisa Stanton was born Russia, Ny 16 October 1818. Louisa died 13 Feb 1887. She married Benjamin Merriman 12 Feb 1837. (See Benjamin Merriman for the continuation of this line.)

She resides in Martinsburg, Lewis Co., NY. She resides in Rutland, Jefferson Co., NY. She resides in Copenhagen, Lewis Co., NY 1880.

758 vi. Susan Stanton was born Russia, Ny 29 July 1825. She married Dr. Ebenezer Allen 15 Nov 1843. (See Dr. Ebenezer Allen for the continuation of this line.)

She resides in Copenhagen, NY 1891.
