In the family group for Susanna Stanton Hiscox, he indicates her son Samuel married Amelia Stanton. In the family group for Amelia Stanton he indicates she married John S. Hiscox (Samuel's brother). John was the son of William Hiscox and Susanna Stanton.

She married John S. Hiscox. John was the son of William Hiscox and Susanna Stanton. John died before 17 Jul 1891 Yonkers, Ny. New york Herald, July 17, 1891: "Samuel Hiscox, who died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. W. A. Cole, in Yonkers, on Sunday last, at the age of 95, will be buried today in Greenwood cemetery. Mr. Hiscox was one of the first ice dealers doing business in New York, and organized the Knickerbocker Ice Company. His son, Edward Hiscox, is a member of the Produce Exchange."
