He married Maria L. Hunt 28 April 1859. Maria was born 13 February 1814.
He resided Hampden, Mass 1891. He is a farmer and was postmaster of Hampden, Mass from 1870 to 1882. He is a Rpublican and a member of the Baptist Church.
