319 i. Betsey10 Stanton was born Stonington, New London, CT 16 Feb 1776. Betsey died 5 Dec 1857 Belchertown, Mass. She married Calvin Bugbee 1798. (See Calvin Bugbee for the continuation of this line.)161. Rev. Robert9 Stanton (Joshua8, William7, Thomas6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Thomas3, John2, Thomas1) was born Stonington, New London, CT 1751. Robert died 1 May 1811 Monson, Mass.
He married Elizabeth Palmer 10 Apr 1775. Elizabeth died 19 August 1821 Monson, Mass. He was a licensed Baptist minister in Stonington, Conn. in 1796. That year he began preaching for the Woodstock Baptist Church in Conn. That church ordained him Jan. 19, 1799, and he served there as pastor until the summer of 1805. He bult the meeting-house used by this church at least as late as 1867. Leaving Woodstock he went to Monson, Mass., where he bought a farm and where he died. Most of his children were born in Stonington.

325 vii. Mary Stanton was born 179?. She married William Glading. No issue.
She resided Stafford, Conn.
326 viii. Nancy Stanton was born 1796. Nancy died 6 Apr 1862. She married Minor Smith. Minor died 6 Apr 1862 Hartford, Conn. In the asylum.
He resided Stafford, Conn. Minor was ill 4 February 1862. Then a widow. Admitted to the "Retreat" for the Insane at Hartford, Conn. (See Minor Smith for the continuation of this line.)
327 ix. Roswell Stanton was born 179?. Roswell died Monson, Mass. Unmarried.
