He married twice. He married Cynthia Underwood. Cynthia died 1806. He married Rhoda Underwood Woodstock, Conn, 15 April 1807. Rhoda was born Woodstock, Conn September 1789. Rhoda died 3 December 1854 New Woodstock, Ny. He was a farmer, a Methodist, and in politics a Federalist, a Whig, and an Anti-Mason.

Oliver Stanton and Rhoda Underwood had the following children:

+ 631 i. Alvin¹¹ Stanton was born 5 Dec 1809.

+ 632 ii. William Brown Stanton was born 6 Sep 1817.

633 iii. Cynthia Ann Stanton was born New Woodstock, Ny 28 Oct 1820. Cynthia died after 1891. She married Benjamin Ward Baum Delphi, Onondaga Co., Ny, 10 March 1842. Benjamin was born Minden, Ny 3 January 1821. Benjamin died 14 February 1887 in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY. (See Benjamin Ward Baum for the continuation of this line.)

She resided in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY 1891.

634 iv. Charles Stanton was born 19 Dec 1824. Charles is deceased. Unmarried.

+ 635 v. Schuyler Van Rensselaer Stanton was born 25 May 1812.
