He married Olive Elizabeth Reed in Caton, NY, 6 Dec 1854?.⁽²⁵²³⁾ Olive was born in NY 8 Jul 1833.⁽²⁵²⁴⁾ Olive died 1 Oct 1885 in Corning, NY.⁽²⁵²⁵⁾

He resided Corning, Ny 1871.⁽²⁵²⁶⁾ It is said that in 1871 the family moved to Corning, New York where the children went to school, but they did not give upthe farm, and apparently were there at least during the sumers. All three children attended school in Corning. He was a farmer.

Samuel Spicer Berry and Olive Elizabeth Reed had the following children:

14 i. Lucy⁴ Berry was born ca 1856.⁽²⁵²⁷⁾ Lucy died 15 Feb 1932 in Corning, NY.⁽²⁵²⁸⁾ She married Morris Burgey.⁽²⁵²⁹⁾ (See Morris Burgey for the continuation of this line.)

She resided in Corning, NY until her death.⁽²⁵³⁰⁾

15 ii. Charles S. Berry was born ca 1858.⁽²⁵³¹⁾ Charles died 25 Sep 1885 in Corning, NY.⁽²⁵³²⁾

+ 16 iii. Lucien Grant Berry was born 29 Nov 1863.
