8. Judge Charles Henry³ Berry (Samuel Foster², Samuel¹) was born Westerly, Ri 12 Sep 1823.⁽²⁵³³⁾

He married Frances Eliza Hubbell Corning, Ny, 14 November 1850.⁽²⁵³⁴⁾ Frances was born 23 February 1830.

He resided Winona, Minn 1891.⁽²⁵³⁵⁾ Judge Berry has been a member of the Minnesota Senate, and served as Attorney General of that State. He has also been U.S. Court Commissioner. In 1888 he was a mamber of the State Board of Corrections and Charities, and Resident Director of the State Normal School at Winona. For ten years (in 1888) he had been President the Educational Board of the city of Winona. Such arecord tells of the man better than pages of eulogy.

Judge Charles Henry Berry and Frances Eliza Hubbell had the following child:

17 i. Kate Louise⁴ Berry was born Winona, Minn 25 August 1857. She married prof. Charles A. Morey. i0 In 1888 he was President of the State Normal School at Winona, Minn.
