1. Samuel¹ Canfield was born in New Haven, Ct 19 Oct 1645. Samuel died 19 Nov 1690 in Norwalk, Ct.

Samuel Canfield and Elizabeth Merwin had the following child:

2 i. Abigail² Canfield was born in Norwalk, Ct Apr 1673. She married Jonathon Rockwell in Norwalk, Ct, 1701. Jonathon was born in Stamford, Fairfield, Ct about 1665. Jonathon was the son of John Rockwell, 3rd. and Elizabeth Weed. Jonathon died 19 Jun 1731 in Ridgefield, Ma. (See Jonathon Rockwell for the continuation of this line.)
