He married Hannah I. Hoose 1883. Hannah was born 12 Jul 1860. Hannah died 1948 in Barnerville, Schoharie County, Ny.

David Sherman Stanton and Hannah I. Hoose had the following children:

1362 i. Lester¹⁴ Stanton was born abt. 1895. Lester died est. 1896-1985 in Binghampton, Ny. Unmarried.

+ 1363 ii. Frederick Stanton was born 3 Mar 1886.

+ 1364 iii. Clarence Erwin Stanton was born 16 Jul 1889.

1365 iv. Lena Stanton was born 1893. Lena died 1922. She married Harold Russell. Harold was born est. 1897-1986. Harold died est. 1911-1982. (See Harold Russell for the continuation of this line.)

+ 1366 v. Leroy Stanton Sr. was born 12 Sep 1902.

1367 vi. Charlotte Stanton was born in Schoharie, Ny 12157 3 Mar 1906. Charlotte died Dec 1978 in Cobleskill, NY. She married twice. She married Walter Vroman Edwards. No issue.

Walter was born 1907. Walter died 1935. His dad bought him a soft-drink business in Cobleskill. But when delivering soft drinks to bars he took to drinking and wound up taking his own life. The V. Probably stands for Vroman. She married Albert Cossart. No issue.

Albert was born 20 Apr 1904. Albert died Jan 1984 in Cobleskill, NY. I (Eldon Stanton) think Charlotte worked in the lab at a milk plant when she was younger. She and Esther France were great friends. Charlotte was in a nursing home for several years before she died.

1368 vii. Sherman Stanton was born 3 Mar 1906. Sherman died in infancy.
