| Patrick Ferry is the son of John Ferry and Bella McGee. Patrick Ferry died at Rockland State Hospital, Orangeburg, NY.1 Patrick and his brother Hugh owned a successful string of taverns in the U.S. and they made a ton of cash. Had bank accounts all over the country and sent a half million in cash back to Ireland. His brother John and his wife loaned out the money. One of the people obtaining a loan from them was Manny Ferry who used it to purchase several adjoining farms in Ireland. Both Patrick and Hugh became eccentric and unable to manage their affairs. They were committed to the State hospital and died there. Unmarried and without issue.1 |
