49. Alex6 Rea (John5, John J.4, James3 Rae, Henry2, David1) was born in Jordan Township, Monona Co., Iowa 29 Jan 1884. Alex died 26 Apr 1958 in Orlando, Orange Co., Florida. His body was interred in Oakdale, Antelope Co., Nebraska.
He married Harriett PansyStanton 23 Nov 1904 in Turin, Monona Co., Iowa. Harriett was born 21 Apr 1885 in Turin, Monona Co., Iowa. She was the daughter of Lawson Jay Stanton and Melissa Ann Van Hoesen. Harriett died 12 Dec 1952 in Alliance, NE. Her body was interred in Oakdale, Antelope Co., Nebraska. Alex, Eliza Brader's child, resided with Eliza in Allen, Dixon Co., Nebraska 1898. When Alex was 14 he had an appendicitis operation at his mothers.Alex lived with his mother and stepfather on the John Rea farm, attended Crumb school and Rouse school, quitting in the fourth grade. In 1895 when his mother and stepfather moved to Ute, IA (where the stepfather had a butcher shop), Alex lived with his brother Edgar on the home farm.

67 i. Eliza Brader7 Rea was born in Soldier (Jordan township), Monona Co., Iowa 11 Oct 1905. She married Donald William Bennett 14 Sep 1925 in Beatrice, Gage Co., Nebraska. Donald was born 10 Feb 1905. He was the son of Franklin Leroy Bennett and Olive Barker. Donald died 19 Feb 1973 in Westminster, Adams Co., Colorado. His body was interred Memorial Cemetery in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma. (See Donald William Bennett for the continuation of this line.)
68 ii. Fred Jay Rea was born in Soldier (Jordan township), Monona Co., Iowa 12 Jun 1907. Fred died 18 Aug 1969 in Honolulu, Honolulu Co., Hawaii. He married Dorothy Bobbitt 23 Aug 1937 Eureka, Greenwood, Kansas. No issue.
Worked for his sister Audra's husband in Denver, Colo at a filling station. He slipped in the grease pit and injured his back. Subsequently developed arthritis and curvature of the spine.
69 iii. Mable Lissie Rea was born in Castana, Monona Co., Iowa 2 Apr 1909. Her birth certificate says Mable. While in her teens she tired of her sister Eliza calling her "May-bull" and began spelling it Maybell. Mable died 5 Oct 1993 in Burlingame, San Mateo Co., California. Her body was interred 30 Oct 1993 Northplatte Cemetery in Northplatte, Lincoln Co, Nebraska. She married Orlo Roy Bonner 19 Apr 1930. Orlo was born 2 Jul 1908 in Shelby, Nebraska. 70 iv. Audra Belle Rea was born in Turin, Monona Co., Iowa 26 Jan 1913. She married three times. She married Robert Arden. Bob was a piano player and traveled along the East Coast. Soon after their marriage, Audra discovered he also had a wife in New York and North Carolina. She divorced him.
She married Joseph Samuel Walker before 1935. Joseph was born 12 Jan 1911 Iola, Allen, Kansas. He is the son of Joseph G. Walker. (See Joseph Samuel Walker for the continuation of this line.) She married Joseph Harold Opleskia 23 Sep 1950. No issue from this marriage. He is the son of Andrew J. Opaleskia and Mary Floric.
