In the family group of Elisha Stanton, his daughter's marriage is given as April, 1818. In her ow nfamily group the date is 15 May 1818. William Stanton does not explain the discrepancy.. Frances died on 28 July 1878 at Stonebreaker, Eldorado Co., Ca.
As of April 1818,her married name was Bryant. She resided at California on 11 May 1870. William Stanton spells her name Francis when listed as a child and as Frances in her own listing.

Gershom was born at Goff's Hill, Norwich Township, Hampshire Co., Ma. He was the son of Elisha Stanton and Anna Rust. He married Julia Antoinette Mcclure at Franklinville, Ny, on 30 September 1827. Six of his children celebrated with him and his wife, the 60th anniversary of their wedding in Sept., 1887.. Gershom died on 20 May 1889 at Ottawa, Kansas.
He resided at Nunda, Ny, in September 1817. He says "John Stanton visited my father Elisha at Goff's Hill, Mass. twice between 1808 and 1811. I, his nephew, sat on his knee and sang a song for which he gave me a new silver sixpence."

Martha Amelia Williams married Joseph Beamer Stratton, son of Joel Stratton, on 15 January 1879 at Kent, Ohio. There were no children from this union.. Martha Amelia Williams died on 18 January 1887 at Kent, Portage county, Ohio. On the farm two miles south. She died of paralysis. At that time Kent was known as Franklin Mills.
As of 14 December 1836,her married name was Munsee. As of 15 January 1879,her married name was Stratton. Three of her children died in early infancy.

Eliza was born at West Hampton, MA, in May 1818. She was the daughter of Hervey Kingsley and Orrill Stanton. She married Elisha Stanton Williams at West Hampton, MA, in February 1837. Eliza Ann Kingsley died in December 1852 at Ellicottville, NY.
As of February 1837,her married name was Williams.
